高三这一年,对老师和学生来说都是一次磨砺。高三这一年来的教学工作,在校领导和同事们的帮助下,在与其他教师的交流和讨论中,我顺利的完成了高三英语教学的工作。对学生的考试技巧指导及训练是有效的、针对性强的。回顾这一年,既忙碌,又充实,也有许多值得总结和反思的地方;现将这一年的高三英语教学工作做一个小结,借以促进和提高。

一、提高课堂效率,特别重视以下三种课型

课堂是教师教、学生学的最重要的阵地。我认为在高三复习过程中,基础知识复习课,专题复习课和讲评课这三种课型是落实教学内容的关键所在。只有落实好这三种课型,并使之优化,才能真正地落实好高三的复习教学。

(一)基础知识复习课

第一轮的基础知识复习侧重帮助学生全面且系统地掌握高中所学英语基础知识,重点是词汇、语法。一轮复习尽管还是按照高一、高二各单元课编排的顺序进行,但是它不同于同步学习。它是一个对所学知识进行归纳整理,找到它们之间的内在联系和区别的过程,在复习过程中,我们尽量要做到将新课程标准与考纲的要求同课本结合起来,以“纲”为握,注重知识的横向联系,避免单一性,做到以点带面,点面结合,注意不受课本内容限制,挖掘词汇的内涵意义,找出它们的内在联系。比如,通过构词法进行单词复习,还有通过同义词、反义词的内辐射来复习,对词汇围绕某一核心词进行归类复习,通过图表比较复习等等。第一轮复习也是学生进行查漏补缺的最好方式。每复习一单元,我们都要求学生对自己没掌握的单词、词组、句型和语法进行一一摘记,让学生把厚书变为薄本。这样复习起来方便、快捷、高效。

(二)专题复习课

专题复习一般是紧接在第一轮复习之后的有针对性的强化复习,它既不同于以全面复习知识、方法、夯实基础为目的的第一轮复习,也不同于以综合训练为主提高应试能力的第三轮复习,而是就语法知识或某些方法、热点问题为专项的复习。专题复习起着承上启下的作用,具有举足轻重的地位,它既是对单元教学成果的巩固,又是对学科内知识的综合深化,是使知识系统化形成能力的关键环节,同时又为第三轮的综合训练进行了必要的知识和能力储备。我们认为课堂教学设计必须根据学科教材的特点和学生实际情况,充分体现知识的系统性、基础性、发展性,要注意引导学生梳理知识,总结规律,融会贯通,运用知识解决实际问题。主题内容的设计既要具有科学的模块性,又要有鲜明的针对性和有效的适应性。我们在教学中既要充分发挥教师的主导作用,启发并指导学生,又要充分发挥学生的主体地位,多给予学生动脑、动手、动口的机会;既要杜绝教师“包办代替”的教学行为,又要强化理论联系实际,并且注意反馈优化。通过反馈,了解学生掌握知识和技能的程度,检验教师的教学方法和教学效果,达到教师调控教学,学生查缺补漏、巩固提高的目的。

(三)讲评课,重点放在错题、热点重点、典型题、解题方法上

高三复习时,测试和练习特别多,与之相关的讲评课也很多。如何上好讲评课对强化教学效果,进一步提高教学质量具有非常重要的意义。在讲评课的教学中,我们做到“三个认真”和抓住“三条思路”,“三个认真”为:认真科学地分析试卷内容的结构;认真统计和学生的答题情况;在前面的两个基础上认真备好讲评课。比如,对那些大部分学生回答正确,只有少数或者个别学生回答错误的试题,教师不必多讲,将错误面广的问题,按知识点或性质分类,对每个类型的典型问题进行分析讲解。

“三条思路”为一,要善于揣摩命题思路,考试时,学生能正确地揣摩出命题人的意图,就不会钻牛角尖,正确把握答题方向;

二,要努力掌握答题思路。讲评时,让学生明白答题的基本思路,使学生逐步掌握答题的基本方法和技巧,同时,也要杜绝学生在答题时可能出现的错误思路,一旦出现问题,及时帮助学生分析产生错误的原因,并从中吸取教训;

三,要善于拓宽知识的思路。为了让学生全面地、系统地掌握每道题的相关内容,讲评时,教师可以以这些题为题根,从试题的深度和广度加以引申,加强知识的纵横联系,归纳总结,加大知识的摄入量。当然,每次检后及时讲评是很重要的,时间长了,学生关心疑惑问题的程度就会减弱。

二、具体教学措施

课堂上坚持精讲多练,做到举一反三、触类旁通。以学生为主体的教学原则。复习课上注意加强学生的操练活动,让学生多动脑筋思考问题,让他们尽可能多地举些例句,使他们能训练掌握语法的用法。

(一)坚持抓好阅读理解。阅读理解是高考的重头戏,占的比重最大。因此,在平时的教学活动当中我注重抓好这一环节,让学生每天都做两篇左右的阅读理解文章,提高阅读理解能力。

(二)抓好书面表达。平时针对近年高考常见的书面表达题型进行训练,并让学生利用早读时间背诵范文,熟悉常见的表达方式。

(三)听力常抓不懈。让学生每天训练英语听力。让学生适应高考的要求。

(四)抓好测试、评价、反思及鼓励工作。除了每个月的月考,每周还进行一次周练,以此来检查复习效果。根据每次考试所反映出的问题进行适时的调整及改进,并及时找相关的同学进行谈心,与他们了解复习过程中的感受,分析他们在学习中存在的问题,一起探讨解决的办法。从而使学生在学习上更具有针对性,感受到老师对自己的关爱,以更足的信心投入到学习当中。

三、高三教学的一些反思

(一)高考试题选材求新、求异的特点和向语段、语篇的理解与运用能力的考查侧重,这就要求我们教师自身在注重本学科基础知识的系统性的同时,还要注意跨学科知识渗透能力和基本技能的培养。

(二)要真正吃透高考考纲和高考对高三学生的能力考查要求,在复习教学过程中,一定要做到去粗取精,不要花费太多宝贵的课堂教学时间去讲解收效慢的知识内容。

(三)高考英语的总趋势要求高中教师要不断充电,迅速提升自身综合素质。同时要研究如何帮助学生形成适合自己学习需要的英语学习策略,这对于高三备考的学生有很大的帮助。

一、任务型阅读的题型特点及考查目的

Although many Chinese students say that their knowledge of English grammar is good, most would admit that their spoken English is poor. Whenever I speak to a Chinese students they always say, “My spoken English is poor.” However, their spoken English does not have to remain “poor.” I would like to suggest that there may be some reasons for their problems with spoken English.

First, they fail to find suitable words to express themselves due to a limited vocabulary. Obviously the better answer is to expand their vocabulary. However, you can speak with a limited vocabulary, if your attitude is positive. Others will follow you as long as you use the words that you know.

Second, they are afraid of making mistakes. Sometimes they make mistakes when they are speaking because they are sky and nervous. Yet students should remember that their goal should be FLUENTLY NOT ACCURACY. Your aim in writing is to be accurate following the rules for grammar and using the your message across, to talk to someone in English, as quickly and well as you can, even though sometimes you may use a wrong word or tense, but it doesn’t matter because the person you are speaking to will understand you and make allowances for any mistakes he hears.

The third reason is that not enough attention is paid to listening. You have one mouth but two ears! All that hearing is necessary for you to start speaking.

Fourth, most Chinese students are reactive rather than proactive language learners. Instead of actively seeking out opportunities to improve their spoken English they passively wait for speaking opportunities to come to them and wonder why their English always remains poor. If you have this proactive outlook, then, you will see English opportunities wherever you go.

If you do not use your English beyond the classroom you will forget that English you know. Remember : USE IT OR LOSE IT! You can learn how to speak English better by speaking English more.
