1.命题组认真总结了前几年高考的命题经验,研究了“大纲”、“说明”和社会各界对高考英语试卷的反映及对试题命制的建议,本着“有利于高校选拔人才,有利于高中英语教学”的原则进行命题;

2.无论是完形填空、阅读还是短文改错,能够牢牢抓住语篇及应用这个中心;

就其难易程度而言,与2000年的“The managers discussed the plan that they would like to see (carried out) the next year”不分伯仲。

第35题Meeting my uncle after these years was an unforgettable moment,_____I will always treasure.

A.that B.one C.it D.what 答案为B

与过去几年一样,命题组成员对短文中出现的、不影响对文章理解或可以依据上下文猜出词义的词,如organic(B篇)、trend(B篇)、herring(D篇)等,不给出中文注释,其他像合成词roadsign(D篇)、派生词mislead(D篇)、wilderness(A篇)seasonal(B篇)、preferece(B篇)都采用同一做法,意在引导高中同学掌握词汇的合成、转化和派生法,这也是巩固并扩大词汇量的一个重要手段。

20道题中也有一道读图题,要求学生从四幅画中指出which of them is most likely to be aparty planner?

这是由下述原因造成的:(一)受到传统模式的影响,考生想不到添词与去掉词各是二个;(二)at the moment,at that moment,at this moment与the moment的意思不一样;(三)the moment的用法不清楚。

A

Some people will do just about anything to save money. And I am one of them .Take my family’s last vacation .It was my six-year-old son’s winter break form school,and we were heading home from Fort Lauderdale after a weeklong trip. The flight was overbooked,and Delta, the airline,offered us $400 per person in credits to give up our seats and leave the next day.I had meetings in New York, so I had to get back. But that didn"t mean my husband and my son couldn"t stay. I took my nine-month-old and took off for home.

The next day, my husband and son were offered more credits to take an even later flight.Yes, I encouraged― okay, ordered― them to wait it out at the airport, to

Now some people may think I"m a bad mother and not such a great wife either. But as a big-time bargain hunter, I know the value of a dollar. And these days, a good deal is something few of us can afford to pass up.

I"ve made a living looking for the best deals and exposing (揭露) the worst tricks .I have been the consumer reporter of NBC"s Today show for over a decade. I have written a coupleof books including one titled Tricks of the Trade: A Consumer Survival Guide. And I really do what I believe in.

I tell you this because there is no shame in getting your money’s worth. I’m also tightfisted when it comes to shoes, clothes for my children, and expensive restaurants.But I wouldn"t hesitate to spend on a good haircut. It keeps its shape longer, and it"s the first thing people notice. And I will also spend on a classic piece of furniture. Quality lasts.

56. Why did Delta give the author"s family credits? A. They took a later flight.

B. They had early bookings. D. Their flight had been cancelled.

C. Their flight had been delayed.

57. What can we learn about the author? A. She rarely misses a good deal. 58. What does the author do? A. She"s a teacher.

B. She"s a housewife. D. She"s a businesswoman. B. How to reserve airline seats. D. How to make a business deal. B

The baby is just one day old and has not yet left hospital. She is quiet but alert (警觉). Twenty centimeters from her face researchers have placed a white card with two black spots on it.She stares at it carefully. A researcher removes the card and replaces it by another, this time with the spots differently spaced. As the cards change from one to the other,her gaze(凝视) starts to lose its focus - until a third, with three black spots, is presented. Her gaze returns; she looks at it for twice as long as she did at the previous card. Can she tell that the number two is different from three, just 24 hours after coming into the world?

Or do newborns simply prefer more to fewer? The same experiment,but with three spots shown before two, shows the same return of interest when the number of spots changes.Perhaps it is just the newness? When slightly older babies were shown cards with pictures of objects(a comb,a key,an orange and so on),changing the number of objects had an effect separate from changing the objects themselves.Could it be the pattern that two things make, as opposed to three? No again. Babies paid more attention to squares moving randomly on a screen when their number changed from two to three, or three to two. The effect even crosses between senses.Babies who were repeatedly shown two spots became more excited when they then heard three drumbeats than when they heard just two;likewise (同样地) when the researchers started with drumbeats and moved to spots.

60.The experiment described in Paragraph 1 is related to the baby’sA.sense of hearing C.sense of touch A.the size of cards

B.sense of sight D.sense of smell B.the colour of pictures D.the number of objects

C. She"s a media person. A.How to expose bad tricks.

B. She seldom makes a compromise. D. She is interested in cheap products.

C. She is very strict with her children

59. What does the author want to tell us? C. How to spend money wisely.

61.Babies are sensitive to the change in______. C.the shape of patterns

62.Why did the researchers test the babies with drumbeats?

A.To reduce the difficulty of the experiment. B.To see how babies recognize sounds. C.To carry their experiment further. A.Science fiction.

D.To keep the babies’ interest. B.Children’s literature. D.A science report. C

It happened to me recently.I was telling someone how much I had enjoyed reading Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father and how it had changed my views of our President.A friend I was talking to agreed with me that it was, in his words,Da brilliantly(精彩地)written book‖. However, he then went on to talk aboutMr. Obama in a way which suggested he had no idea of his background at all .I sensed that I was talking to a book liar.

And it seems that my friend is not the only one. Approximately two thirds of people have lied about reading a book which they haven’t.In the World Book Day’sDReport on Guilty Secrets‖,Dreams From My Father is at number 9.The report liststen books,and various authors,which people have lied about reading,and as I’m not one to lie too often (I’d hate to be caught out),I’ll admit here and now that I haven’t read the entire top ten .But I am pleased to say that, unlike 42 percent of people,I have read the book at number one,George Orwell’s 1984.I think it’s really brilliant.

The World Book Day report also has some other interesting information in it.It says that many people lie about having read Jane Austen,Charles Dickens,Fyodor Dostoevsky(I haven’t read him,but haven’t lied about it either)and Herman Melville.

Asked why they lied,the most common reason was toDimpress‖someone they were speaking to.This could be tricky if the conversation became more inCdepth!

But when asked which authors they actually enjoy,people named J. K.Rowling,John Grisham,Sophie Kinsella(ah,the big sellers,in other words).Forty-two percent of people asked admitted they turned to the back of the book to read the end before finishing the story(I’ll come clean:I do this and am astonished that 58 percent said they had never done so).

64. How did the author find his friend a book liar? A.By judging his manner of speaking. C.By mentioning a famous name.

B.By looking into his background. D.By discussing the book itself.

63.Where does this text probably come from? C.An advertisement.

65.Which of the following is aDguilty secret‖according to the World Book Day report? A.Charles Dickens is very low on the top-ten list. B.42% of people pretended to have read 1984. C.The author admitted having read 9 books. D.Dreams From My Father is hardly read.

66.By lying about reading,a person hopes to . A.control the conversation C.learn about the book A.Favorable.

1、题型结构与去年相同;

2、全卷的总体难度与前几年基本一致;

3、继续强调语言测试的交际性原则;

4、适当调整试卷中部分试题的难度,知识性题目的难度与持平,考查的内容保证了知识的覆盖面;

5、试卷中不注释汉语的生词较往年减少;

1、理解主旨、要义;

2、获取事实性的具体信息;

3、对说话的背景、说话者之间的关系等能作出简单的推断;

1、基础语法知识;

2、语法知识的运用能力;

3、词组的搭配和习惯用法;

The English play was a great success. My students acted in the play at the NewYear"s Party.

表示公共场所的名词如:“hotel,zoo,park”等常与“the”连用,故第一空用“the”;第二空用“a”表数量。

此处“suit”含义为:“to be suitable or convient for”.(合适,;对… “fit ”含义为:“to be the right size or shape for.”

I hate it when people talk with their mouths full.(NMET)

“get(cause oneself to be in the specified state or condition)”与某些过去分词搭配表示某人处于某一状况,如:“get dressed/undressed, get married, get examined”等。 答案为A 。

表推断时“must”的否定式为“can"t”,语气肯定,答案为A 。

由题干中“he was saying” 可知答案为D。

答案为A 。

答案为A 。

因空前有at Uncle Allan"s in Belleville,考生很容易选B.where,但文中作者回忆的是那天晚上吃面的情景,因此A.when最佳。

选项中,C. officially(正式地)干扰性较强。

C.Suddenly与上文衔接自然,为最佳答案。

Last weekend, we family visited a farm run by high-tech methods, which was intended to exercise and refresh ourselves. Early in the morning, we headed for our destination by bike. On arrival, The leader of the farm gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. To our amazement, the farm was heavy with a variety of fruits and vegetables, but they grew out of water instead of earth. What impressed us most was that 3D printing technology was being employed by the workers. Surprisingly, A mini robot run by 3D printing picked up some sweet grapes for us without efforts. Later on, a skilled worker presented us how this amazing skill worked on watering plants and packing fruits, enabling me to have a great passion for science.

Time passed quickly before we knew it, we had to say goodbye to the workers. Through this journey to the farm, I realized science and technology make our life better.
