1. Warm---up
师生自由问答：

Ss: The bookstore.
2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)
(1)在黑板上画一座房子和一个机器人，指着机器人说：Who’s that? 学生回答：It’s Robin. 再指着房子说：Where can we find Robin? 学生回答：In the museum. 出示感叹句：What a great museum!
出示一张明信片，说："It’s a post card.Robin wants to send a post card.Where should he go?” 引出单词post office.
出示一张地图，问学生：“Where is the post office?”出示单词：next to, near, behind.
利用三个例句结合图片理解next to, near, behind.
(4)在学生理解三个方位介词后，小组活动，利用方位介词描述途中各个场馆的位置。
(5)Let’s try
让学生阅读听力题目，然后听录音独立完成内容。
(6)出示对话内容，请学生听录音，然后朗读对话。
(7)学生进行操练，先同桌互练，再在全班表演.

教学目标：
1.能够听、说、读、写单词：science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital.
2.能用句子“Where is the cinema? It’s next to the bookstore. ”来替换有关询问和回答位置的表达。
教学重难点：本课时的教学重点和难点是掌握四会短语和A Let's learn部分中运用方位借此表述位置。
教学准备：
1.准备本课时的录音。
2.单词卡片。
教学过程：
1. Warm---up (热身及预习展示)
复习对话，教师请学生两人一组表演朗读对话。
2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)
(1)出示Robin, 并说：Robin is a robot. Where can we find Robin? 引导学生说出单词 science museum.
(2)出示地图，并说：Robin wants to send a post card, it’s near the museum. Where is it? 引出单词post office.
(3)根据地图继续引导学生：Robin wants to buy some books, the place is next to the post office. Can you find where Robin want to go?
(4)以同样的方法教单词cinema和hospital.
(5)领读单词，学生小组内读单词，相互纠正发音。
(6)利用地图，请学生描述每个地方的位置。
(7)学生进行操练，先同桌互练，再在全班表演.

(1)出示地图，说：“Now, I want to have some pizza, I want to go to the Italian restaurant. How can I get there?”。让学生先画出路线，然后引导学生表述路线： Turn left at the ... .Then turn right at the .... 再请同学来说说他们的路线。
(2)朗读课文对话，分角色完成对话。或小组内朗读表演对话。

(1)出示地图，请小组内完成对话。

(2)用单词卡片在黑板上拼一个地图， 先让学生自己说一说路线， 然后请一个学生通过抽卡选出他的出发地和目的地，并进行描述，在他描述的同时。请其他同学通过描述画出路线。

1. 教学词组：turn left turn right
(1)学生跳“兔子舞”。跳的时候教师要注意示范left和right，如左右脚、左右手的动作。
(2)跳完后教师再一次举起左右手和左右脚并重复单词right和 left，板书：right 和left，带读right 和left。
(3)活动：听听做做
T：show me your right/left hand/leg/ear/foot.全班同学根据指令动作，边做边说：My right/left hand/leg/ear/foot.然后改由一个学生发指令，其他同学边说边做动作。
2.教学词组： go straight
(1) 教师再黑板上用尺子画一条直线，指着直线说：This line is straight.板书：straight，带读straight。然后采用“大小声”的游戏操练单词
(2)板书补充go straight。带读go straight。

(1)教师将课本上的地图贴在黑板上，对学生介绍说：Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing. Can you help her? For example, now we are in front or Tian’anmen. Go straight and you can see the Palace Museum.
(2) 学生两人一组进行活动。
2 活动：老外与警察
活动方式：先由教师扮演老外，学生扮演警察，让警察为老外指路。在师生示范的基础上，学生两人一组，分别扮演警察与老外进行对话。如：
T：Excuse me, sir. I want to send some postcards. Is there a post office near here?
S：yes, there is.
T：Where is it?
S：It’s near the school.
T：How can I get to the post office?
S：Go straight . You will see a crossing. Then turn right. You will see it.

(3)教师领读单词，并让学生在四线格中每个尝试写几遍。
(4)分4人小组，各组同学在组内初读对话内容，解决不会读的单词和不理解的句子，小组内不能解决的问老师。
(5)Listen and order，让学生听录音，按课文呈现的顺序排序。
(6)Read the text and answer thequestions,让学生读课文对话回答问题。
(7)跟录音读全文，全班齐读，小组内分角色朗读对话并尝试表演。
(8)Fill in the blanks and retell the story.

Preview 齐唱本单元的歌曲。
让学生齐读Read and write部分的对话，检查学生的复习情况，纠正不正确的发音和语调。
然后请三名同学上台分角色表演对话，看谁模仿得最像。

首先，出示Let’s check的挂图，让学生根据图片猜测画面意思。
然后让学生浏览吐下的两个问题，做到心中有数。
播放录音，让学生根据听到的内容回答两个问题，在学生听的过程中做适当的引导。
再次播放录音，学生跟读。
Let’s wrap it up
出示小熊挂图，引导学生说出表示不同方位的单词，并填在图片相应的椭圆里。
讲解next to， near，beside的用法区别。然后鼓励学生用这些方位介词造句，看谁造得又多又快。
